Your Role as a Driver at Hello Group

The Driver at Hello Group is responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient transportation services for the company’s executive team, business operations, and deliveries. You will act as the face of Hello Group — representing the company with professionalism, discretion, and reliability at all times.

Key Responsibilities

1. Driving Operations

• Provide professional driving services to EXCO members and other key stakeholders within the business.
• Ensure punctuality, confidentiality, and discretion in all assigned driving tasks.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with both business units and fleet management, providing updates and feedback when necessary.
• Be ready to adapt to changing schedules while maintaining a calm and professional attitude.

2. Delivery Requirements

• Safely transport and deliver important documents, parcels, and packages to their destinations.
• Obtain the necessary signatures and confirmations for all critical deliveries to ensure accountability.
• Keep accurate records of all trips, deliveries, and assigned duties, maintaining full transparency and reliability.

3. Asset and Vehicle Management

• Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and always roadworthy.
• Follow company procedures for vehicle usage, maintenance, and servicing schedules.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential mechanical or safety issues and report them promptly.
• Comply with all road safety and company driving regulations to guarantee safe operations.

What You Need to Succeed in This Role

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is professional, respectful, and takes pride in their work. You will need to combine strong driving skills with excellent interpersonal abilities, ensuring both safety and courtesy are always top priorities.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP) – Preferred but not mandatory
• Proven experience as a professional driver
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Strong knowledge of road safety laws and routes within Gauteng
• Well-groomed and presentable personal appearance
• No criminal record
