We are urgently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Data Capturer / Admin Clerk to join our team in the Modderfontein / Edenvale area. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse through meticulous data capturing and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock Management: Monitor, plan, and control stock levels to ensure accurate and timely stock movements. This includes regular stock counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Investigate Stock Variances: Investigate and resolve stock variances to maintain accurate inventory records. Liaise with different departments and suppliers to track down discrepancies.
• Receive Stock and Process Returns: Efficiently manage the receipt of stock and the processing of returns. Ensure all stock received is accurately documented and returns are processed promptly.
• Data Entry: Capture and maintain accurate data on stock movements, ensuring all entries are timely and precise. Update stock databases and spreadsheets.
• Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, answering phone calls, and handling emails. Support the warehouse team with any other administrative needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Must have a Grade 12 certificate. Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English is essential.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are required, including experience with data entry and working with computers. Basic experience with Microsoft Excel will be an advantage.
• Stock Control Experience: Proven experience in stock control or a related field is highly preferred. Knowledge of stock management principles and practices is essential.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data capturing and stock management.
• Location: Candidate must preferably reside close to the Modderfontein / Edenvale area or have reliable transport.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies effectively. Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of variances and implement corrective actions.

• Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: The salary range for this position is between R 6000 – R 8500 per month, depending on experience.
